» General Wesley Clark Joins Velta Holding US Advisory Board

Velta LLC announced in January that General Wesley Clark joined the Advisory Board of its parent company Velta Holding US. Leveraging his extensive in both military and technology and recognizing the growing global demand for titanium, Gen. Clark will support Velta team in integrating Velta Ti Process, a cutting-edge Ukrainian technology for obtaining titanium into the US industry.     

“The partnership between America, NATO, and Ukraine is pivotal in deterring Russian aggression. And I believe that the mutual exchange of modern technology and resources will only strengthen this alliance. Titanium stands as a critical raw material and an irreplaceable metal in the aerospace and military sectors. And my goal is to help open up new access to this material together with Velta via modern manufacturing strengthened by high technology,” he remarked.

A retired U.S. Army General and West Point Military Academy graduate, Wesley Clark boasts a distinguished military career. He was wounded in action while serving as an infantry company commander in Vietnam. Later Gen Wesley Clark commanded at the battalion, brigade and division level, and served in key staff positions. In his final position, served as NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe. Since his retirement, he has been an investment banker and board member, advisor to over 100 companies having experience in energy, finance, mining and technology. 

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Wesley Clark has strongly supported Ukraine. His first visit to Ukraine was in 1964. Later in 1994, he hosted the first U.S. Ukraine military staff talks as a three-star general. Following his retirement from the military, General Clark made multiple visits to Ukraine, particularly after the Maidan events. His vast experience in overseeing large-scale operations during critical situations is noteworthy.
