The invention of obtaining titanium metal powders and alloys has passed complete expertise and was patented by the United States Patents and Trademarks Office. The patent has approved the inventive level, novelty and industrial use of the technology.

Velta Holding US Inс. consists of 2 Ukrainian companies, it operates in the mining sector for more than 10 years and covers 2% of the global titanium feedstock market. Innovative direction has been launched in 2017.

After 3 years of research efforts Velta Holding US Inс. scientists have developed absolutely new method of obtaining metal titanium at a significantly lower cost and with far fewer carbon emissions. In 2020 we’ve sent the first formed patent to USPTO, it took 25 months to receive a positive conclusion and patent.

“We’ve sent the first patent application exactly to the American bureau and only then we applied it at the Ukrainian national level. This step was dictated by our confidence in the rapid growth of the peaceful and technological titanium market, but the war in Ukraine fundamentally changed the global market. Currently, titanium is a critical defense raw material, and access to it is essential for national security. Understanding this and having a patented technology, we will continue our way towards the goal of building a number of plants to produce final titanium products”, commented Andriy Brodskyy, CEO of Velta Holding US Inс.
